Work with Propella

While working at Propella Electric Bikes, I learned what it takes to run a start up company and be a jack of all traits. My work on the electronic side included building the company website, graphic design and studio photoshoots. My other work included traveling for bike expos, product distribution, and product development. Working for a small company allowed me to get a first hand experience to learn about building a brand and solidify a company’s place in a growing market.

Propella Electric Bikes.

Background:

I met the founder, Ben Tarassoli, on the campus of the University of Washington in 2015. Joining Ben after launching his first Kickstarter, I quickly got involved with the start-up, growing the company. Focusing on the user experience, I began designing product manuals and websites. Once established, my focus turned to product design and quality control. Working with overseas manufacturers, we produced and sold over 500 bikes through two more rounds of crowdfunding and investment. I ultimately parted with Propella in 2019 after four fantastic years. The experience and knowledge gained from working in a start-up refined my work ethic and drive for lean manufacturing.
