This Early Fall exploration seminar took us to the informal settlements of Lomas de Piedra in Northern Lima where 8 Students spend a month planning and building a children’s park for a small community. This experience was incredibly gratifying as I was immersed by a poverty stricken way of life. Building a park from the ground up gave use real world experience involving multiple design processes which continually felt pressure because of the short timeline we had. In order to maximize our time, my team worked off a 3D model of the park, creating components we planned to use for building the park.

Using aerial techniques to capture the land scape, I was able to record elevations of the community as well as create an image incapsulating all of Eliseo Collazos.
